Kråkerøy Stadion is a nice little arena just south of the city of Fredrikstad. It has a natural small hill on of the sides, providing good viewing options for the spectators. There has also been added some wooden benches for comfort. I first visited this stadium back in 2016, but at that time there were no match on. For some time, the Kråkerøy IL seniors used to play at Fredrikstad Stadion. But after some upgrading, they are now back where they belong.
Five years after my first visit, I was finally ready for match. The sun was shining, the temperature was nice and the kiosk provided the ice-cream. Perfect setup for a great experience. But not too many ha met up to welcome league leaders and favorites FK Eik Tønsberg. It was top against bottom in the table. Some minutes before half-time, Kristian Rinaldo Pedersens direct free-kick found the net. After that, it was never any doubt. An easy victory for the visitors, but a good match experience at Kråkerøy!
