Way up north in Hallingdalen, lies some beautiful villages. The major one is Gol, which is also the home of Hallingmo Idrettspark and Hallingdal FK. I visited the 5. tier match against Svelvik. The visitors had about a 3 hour (!) drive for this away-match and they really wanted something to show for the long drive. The match was pretty even the whole way, but the visitors from Svelvik probably created a little bit more than the hosts. Hallingdal on the other hand, always looked dangerous with their young striker prospect Magnus Magnetun Bækken. Both teams created chances. Svelvik could certainly have clinched all three points, but Hallingdal keeper Per Oskar Stave saved a penalty late in the match. In ended a draw. Good entertainment for a proper crowd of about 60 persons at a beautiful Friday night at Hallingmo Idrettspark
