Another magical night at the great Wembley Stadium. Last 16 of the Champions League and a lot at stake. Spurs against German giants and Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund. London was buzzing and the match were not to dissapoint! The fantastic Borussia Dortmund fans really fired it up a long time before kick-off. The Spurs fans responded when the match started!
On the pitch Spurs was absolutely superb. The genius Mauricio Pochettino surprisingly started with Juan Foyth as part of a three men center back line. Vertonghen started at left back and the Belgian fan favorite were at his absolute best.
In the first half the two sides controlled each other and chances were kept at a minimum. After the interval, the match exploded. Spurs took an early lead and looked dangerous every time going forward
In the end Spurs added a second and a third and ran out very deserved winners. Tottenham – Borussia Dortmund 3-0 final result. A great result going into the second leg in Dortmund. It was certainly a wonderful night at Wembley!
