Jeløya is an island just west of the city of Moss, connected to the mainland by a little bridge. Sprint-Jeløy has for many years been the second team in the municipality of Moss, behind Moss FK. The benefit of picking up the second-best players has been really valuable for the last seasons. Sprint plays their matches at the very nice Bellevue Stadion south-east on Jeløya.

I visited Jeløya for the match against IL Express from Grimstad. Both teams were in need of points to climb the table. After an even first-half, it was boys against men after the interval. The attacking players Reinback and Wasenius dominated and the visitors had no answers. In the end a very deserved victory in the very nice spring weather in Østfold.
