Color Line Stadion is situated just east of the city center of Ålesund, and I parked my car just outside the stadium. The arena has covered stands all the way around. Three of the sides have the same height, while the north-side is almost double the size of the others. When I visited, the covid situation was still influential and therefore a smaller attendance than you would normally see.
On the pitch Aalesund were huge favorites for this one and the hosts started brightly. After half-hour the hosts were 3-0 up and the match looked dead and buried. But the underdogs from Strømmen never gave up. Aalesund deserved the victory in the end, but with some luck, Strømmen could have taken something from this match. Entertaining and lots of goals at Color Line Stadion!
