Degerfors back in the Swedish top division Allsvenskan, after a massive 24 years long wait. This match was the first one with a full capacity crowd at Stora Valla after the covid limitations. It was also a very important match for both clubs in the fight to avoid relegation from the Allsvanskan. Not a large city Degerfors. Located out in the countryside in Sweden. But Degerfors IF has a rich history, with more than 30 years total in Allsvenskan

Great weather in Värmland, as I made the 3,5 hours drive from Oslo. Entering the old, but charming Stora Valla, you could sense that this was a very special day. Both clubs with all to play for and it started really brightly. Three goals inside the first 30 minutes. The match was very much about which side wanted it the most. Degerfors were backed by an enthusiastic crowd and won it marginally in the end.
