This is a lovely located stadium, that I had been looking forward to visit for a long time. Located just 100 meters from the sea and with a large camping site as the closest neighbor. The name of the stadium is actually “The stadium at the beach” in Swedish. This is really the Swedish countryside. Far away from any large city. Everything with the ground and the people is very down to earth and friendly.

I visited Strandvallen for the match against IK Sirius in Allsvenskan. Both clubs struggling to score goals at the time, but with a decent start of the season. Great weather and a lot of local youth teams in the stands. Mjällby really turn on a great performance and gave all the faithfulls at Strandvallen a memorable afternoon. I highly recommend a visit to this great ground!
