The city of Vadsø is the main city in the eastern parts of Finnmark, north-east in Norway. Norild IL is best team and they welcomed Follo FK north to Vadsø Stadion. A good crowd of about 200 showed up in beautiful May weather for this Saturday afternoon match.
The match was even and both teams fighted for it. It could have gone either way. But with only four minutes left on the clock, substitute Martin Skorstad headed home a corner for Norild (see the goal) Follo had no response and Norild secured three very important points in front of a enthusiastic crowd at Vadsø Stadion.
If you ever get the chance you should make the trip north-east in Norway. Fantastic nature, nice atmosphere and warm people, make it a great experience! Also remember to visit the kiosk for some local specialties!
